Vintage Kahla Germany Physalis Porcelain Serving Platter - Large 14.75" Oval Autumn Leaves Platter

Bring the warm, weathered hues of an autumn shoreline indoors. This striking vintage porcelain serving platter was crafted by Kahla in Thuringia, Germany, during the late 1960s to 1980s. Featuring a beautifully detailed botanical motif of Physalis (Chinese Lanterns), the design showcases rich amber, rust orange, and deep sepia leaves that capture the exact turning of the season. A delicate, slightly scalloped gold-gilded rim frames the piece, adding a touch of faded elegance.

At a generous 14 ¾ inches, it is the largest oval platter produced in this pattern—making it an exceptional anchor piece for a Thanksgiving table, an autumnal mantle display, or a seasonal gathering on the deck.

The Story & Character:
Every piece in our Old Salt collection has weathered its own storms. This platter carries a single, small visible chip along its gold rim, located right near the lone leaf detail on the edge. Rather than hiding its age, this minor imperfection grounds the piece in its authentic vintage history, making it perfect for a collector who values a home with a story, or a creative soul looking to repurpose it into a stunning seasonal decor display.
