Three pieces of aqua glass, each with a past.

This trio brings together two embossed apothecary bottles and a blue-green Hemingray insulator. Their soft seafoam and aqua hues recall the colors of sea glass collected along the shore, bringing a little saltwater soul to a shelf or mantel.

The bottles have worn surfaces and individual markings: Ripans Chemical Co., New York, and Trybaker’s 5 Minute Cough Balsam. The insulator bears the inscription “Patent May 2, 1899” around its base.

Display them together or tuck them among books and other collected finds. Coastal in spirit, without feeling overly themed.
